Family photographer – Marlborough
I’ve now done a few family photography sessions in Marlborough and I have loved every one!! The scenery is just beyond stunning!!
As a general rule, I do prefer my sessions to take place either within the first few hours of sunrise or just before the sun is setting. Aka the ‘golden hour’. It provides the most dreamy, soft light which is amazing to photograph in. Unfortunately, though this does sometimes bite you on the bottom! This location was an hour away and the sun was due to rise at 7 am. So, this was a very early start for a Sunday, but it couldn’t have been more worth it!!
When I initially chatted with Annabel about possible shoot locations, she immediately mentioned the farmland near to where she lives. It’s somewhere that’s special for them and holds lots of memories. A place where her children are growing up and exploring, so it seemed the perfect option!!
Of course, there is always the weather to contend with when booking an Autumn shoot in the UK. And unfortunately, we did have to reschedule this one as it was absolutely pouring it down on our original date. Thankfully though, when I turned up I was greeted with the most beautiful morning sky, thick with fog. It was so beautiful and made the perfect moody backdrop!
