Elopements have found their popularity again! They are fast becoming more and more requested over the last few years. And the increase has definitely been more obvious. Especially following the rubbish couple of years we have endured.
(Nope, not gonna mention the C word here, at all!!)
It appears a lot of couples are ditching the traditional larger weddings. Plus the extra stress that ultimately comes with these big days!! Instead opting for a much more intimate and private celebration. To ultimately show off their love. Plus their commitment to each other.

The elopement rules
In England, you are required to ‘give notice’ to marry at your local registry office. And that has to be at least 29 days before you elope. You then need to have the wedding ceremony, within 12 months of giving the notice. There is also a small cost. But it is very straightforward.
