Ever thought about having a relaxed in-home Maternity photoshoot, this Windsor family did just that!?
In-home maternity photoshoots are fast becoming a popular option when capturing this beautiful milestone in your family’s life.
And although this was an unseasonably warm March morning, it’s definitely a great option in the colder, more winter months.
What rooms do you use during an in-home session?
Every session is unique as every home is unique. Basically, I’m looking for little pockets of light throughout your home to use for the session. But being that I have been to many in-home maternity photoshoots, I know exactly what I am looking for. You would also be surprised how little light I actually need to create beautiful imagery.
But don’t worry, I will only shoot in rooms that you are happy to have in your photos. And don’t worry if your house isn’t Instagram perfect, I mean who’s actually is?? I am very used to moving the odd item if I believe it will cause a distraction in the image. I have even been known to move the odd piece of furniture for the ultimate photo!
Having your gorgeous home as the backdrop to your maternity session adds another layer to your gallery. Having these images to treasure and share with your children when they grow is priceless. It’s a complete trip down memory lane every time you look at them. The house you lived in then, the way is was decorated, even the nursery that had so lovingly been created.
