autumn family photography
Can you imagine my delight when Kate got in touch looking for a family photographer near Oxford? She was specifically after someone who would be able to capture her and her daughter in a beautifully natural and authentic way. Wanting to keep the session as light and fun as possible for her daughter Ellie.
And this was exactly what we did!! And this session was a lot of fun!
We chatted lots, we laughed more and we even went looking for some little woodland fairies along our way!
All of my family sessions have been specifically designed with children in mind. They are relatively fast-paced, making sure no one gets the chance to feel bored. Plus, I like to keep them as fun and carefree as possible, involving lots of little games along the way. Which results in beautiful natural imagery that lets their little personalities shine through.
the location has to be perfect!
Choosing the perfect location is so important. Kate and I did spend quite a bit of time making sure we had found it. As it was a Motherhood Session, with just the two of them, I was after a location that offered a variety of different backdrops to choose from, this way we had plenty of diversity on offer for the gallery. Our multiple Whatsapps back and forth were 100% worth the effort, the location was perfect for what I had in mind.
These guys were amazing to photograph! The sessions just flowed so perfectly. It was mid-October and the autumnal colours were still fully on display, it was beautiful! Plus we managed to luck out with a stunning sunset. It was just perfect!!
