Being a Newbury baby photographer has to be one of the best jobs out there! So you can imagine my absolute delight when Fliss asked me to come back to photograph her gorgeous family. This time though, with the addition of her beautiful newborn baby girl, little Tilly!
Being asked to return and photograph my clients’ families again has to be one of the absolute biggest and best compliments out there!! So of course, as you can imagine, I jumped at the chance!!
Extra feeds and countless nappy changes!
Now, I am absolutely convinced that on the day of the session Tilly must have been having a little growth spurt. As she pretty much wanted to be feeding the whole time I was there. This isn’t ever a problem though as my newborn sessions are totally baby-led.
In fact, the babies are 100% in charge!!

During a newborn session
My aim is to always provide my families with plenty of beautiful, heartfelt memories to treasure forever. With images that they will be happily reminiscing over for years to come.
During the session, I’ll be concentrating on capturing all of those cute little tender moments shared between you all as you embrace your new arrival into the family. There to offer gentle directions along the way. Creating beautiful authentic connections as you enjoy this special time together.
The key here is to keep these sessions as relaxed as possible as I am fully aware that most of my newborn shoots take place within the first few weeks of giving birth. In that crazy post-birth bubble, filled with nothing but endless feeds and nappy changes. As a Mum of 2 girls myself, I remember that feeling of total overwhelm in those early days. So I’ll simply be there, chatting away and photographing you all as we move around your home searching out those all-important pockets of light to take advantage of.
As always it was a total dream to be photographing Fliss and her lovely lot!! Plus how ridiculously cute is Tilly!!!??
